| Senior Pastors Varun and Da Laohaprasit Pastors Lao and Ps. Da were born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand. They have been friends since they were very young. They married after graduating from Chulalongkorn University, the first established and still one of the top universities in Thailand. Ps. | Pastor Caesar and Naly Prelow Pastor Caesar and Naly Prelow oversee New Hope International Church’s North Campus located in Mountlake Terrace. Both he and his wife have faithfully served in New Hope International Church for more than 10 years. Pastor Caesar is a gifted preacher, enjoys ministering to people’s individual needs, and plays a key role in developing and supporting the church’s family and maturity ministries. Read More |

| Tyson and Peishih Supasatit Pastors Tyson and Peishih Supasatit oversee the campus and young professional groups at New Hope International Church’s Mercer Island campus. Tyson believes his most important role in the church is making disciples and devotes much of his time teaching and training students and young adults. Read More |

| Pastor Kenny and Malee Tsai Pastors Kenny and Malee Tsai oversee the worship ministry at New Hope International Church. Since their baptisms in 1989, Pastor Kenny and Malee have hosted caregroups, taught young believers, and even led the youth ministry. Read More |

| Pastor Sam and Carlin Yoophum Sam and Carlin “Noi” Yoophum are the ordained Thai/Lao pastors at New Hope International Church. They serve a lively congregation of fifty to sixty attendees every Sunday afternoon. The Thai service at New Hope began in May of 2006. The entire service is celebrated in the Thai language. Even the fellowship after the service is celebrated with delicious Thai food. Read More |

Their café across from Seattle University functions as a place for prayer, evangelism, and fellowship for students from the school. | Pastor Victor and Lorena Foncesa Victor and Lorena lead the Spanish-speaking fellowship at New Hope International Church. From their home in the Rainier Valley, they have brought many Spanish-speaking individuals and families to know Jesus Christ at New Hope International Church. Ps. Victor says his favorite aspect of ministry is seeing God build His church one-by-one, and also seeing people’s lives changed when they receive the fire of God. Read More |

| Pastor Brenda Supasatit Pastor Brenda Supasatit runs the Children’s Ministry at New Hope International Church and was one of the church’s first members, joining in 1988 after Ps. Lao brought her husband, Phirat, to know Jesus Christ. Raised in rural Missouri, Pastor Brenda was a registered nurse for more than 10 years until she had her third child and became a stay-at-home mom. She also assists Phirat in overseeing the evangelism team at New Hope International Church. Read More |

| Pastor Arash and Tily Dehghan Pastors Arash and Tily Dehghan provide pastoral care and leadership training at New Hope International Church’s Mercer Island Campus and in the Thai-Lao congregation. Before moving to Seattle from Bangkok in 2011, Pastors Arash and Tily helped to pioneer the House of Glory Church in Bangkok and ministered to local churches in Thailand and Burma. Under their care and their faithful team, House of Glory Church grew from about 20 people to more than 100 congregants in just a couple years.Read More |
| Elders Neal and Mary Jo Calkins Elders Neal and Mary Jo Calkins serve on the New Hope International church eldership board and have both been members of the church for more than 15 years. They provide pastoral oversight to several groups at the Mercer Island campus, including the Spanish-speaking group and “downtown” caregroup for the homeless and others who are marginalized by society. | Elders/Deacon Yong and Tai Tsai Elders Yong and Tai Tsai were among the first converts in New Hope International Church, joining in 1988 when they were just fresh out of college. Ever since then, both Yong and Tai have committed their lives to building God’s church. As Yong says, “The Scriptures tell me to live for Christ and not for myself. When I do this, I will find fulfillment and God’s purpose for my life. That’s why I became a Christian at 24 years-old, and that’s why I still serve God today.” Read More |
